Gosh. My tuition starts next week. So fast. A new school year will start real soon... In a blink of an eye we will be Sec 3s alr.

So many things are happening this year. Particularly this month. Thai protestors? Mumbai terrorists? Tainted milk? Global warming? Poverty? Recession? Stock market crash? Inflation? Wat has this world gotten into???

I cut my hair today!!!! Its like. A coconut with no husk?? Haha. Went to watch Madagascar 2 today!!! With my mum and bro. So funny:) its worth watching. I saw 2 new movies which looks interesting too! one is Hotel for dogs. I bet cherms will love it. Dogs everywhere! then i cant remember the next one. i want to watch twilight too! ANYONE WANT TO WATCH WITH ME?

Hellllooooo. I'm back again:) Shall continue with Day2.

So i woke up early and washed up and went outside to gather. It was so misty and cold!!! And when u talk, there is this condensation thing! So cool. then everyone started blowing in the air. Haha. So, we went for breakfast. It was hot chicken porridge. So yummy! i ate like 2 bowls. haha. The sister briefed us on the tasks that we need to do for that day. We are gonna go pull out some weeds thingy from the ground. So yeah we began digging the weeds. Sweat quite a lot. And elysia was like boosting to me how great her farming skills were and she can be a full time farmer. We gathered the weeds to the center of the ground and then we burnt it. So cool. but very smokey. after that, we went to beat the rice. So awesome. You get to thrash the rice plant and let all the small little rice fall out. then u have to beat it. It is really tiring tho. and has like insects crawling in it. Haha. after that went for lunch. i cant remember wat lunch it was. then we went to pluck corns. it was the worst experience i ever had. It had like insects crawling around and inside the corn. this big bee like thing flew and landed on my leg. Lol. I will say: CORNY LOVE! HAHA. after that, our skin started itching like mad. i had like rashes on my hands. after that, we went to bathe. The water was super cold. then ah gong went to quickly chope the cubicle first. haha. after a while the water ran out!!!! so we had to use the tap in the cubicle and scooop the water. then we went for dinner and they served corn!!!! Lol. got introduced to my buddy. they make 3 children sit on a bench and leaving a space in btw each other for us to sit. So i chose my seat and sat beside this small boy. He looked so strict. i didnt noe what to talk to him. then i asked him wat was his name. He said Sompod. I tot i pronounced his name wrongly and he was angry with me. but actually the children are supposed to be quiet in the dining hall as it is a respectable place. they are supposed to concentrate on eating. then after that i went to sleep. So tired man!

Day3

Woke up early again. it was still kind of cold. But not misty like yesterday. Today's task is to loosen up the soil in the garden so that sister can plant their own veg in it. first we mus sweep off the hay. there are ants like everywhere and crawling on our shoes. it bit me many times. then i was sweeping and jumping around the place. haha. later one of the helper came and asked me to helpl her pluck long beans. i tot it was an easier job but then there are still ants crawling on it. and i have to be careful of the thorns that grow on the trunks of the dragon fruit. Being a fat person, i have to be careful as it is really narrow, but i got poked several times. haha. after that we went vack to helpl the others. I helped kimberly and it was really really tiring. But super LE TIAN managed to dig her area all by herself!!! So strong. I started having a terrible stomachache. Then someone said something like we are digging our own graves. coz we need to dig a rectangular area and do a drainage canal thing beside it. somehting like irrigation!!! Lol. then the sec 3s came and gave us a hand. so we finally finished the task. Cherms and nicole's bags were full of ants as they put their bags on the floor and all the ants crawled in. after that, we went to the primary school and the secondary school of the kids. Its quite big. with the kindergarden children there too. they were taking a nap. So cute!!! some children were like not asleep and were even playing. The guide was like OMG! haha. Some sec 3s went to play basketball with the secondary students. haha. then we went to bathe and it was dinner time! this time the person sitting the other side of me is this boy called tong. he is like 17? then he just suddenly disappeared then we say he disappeared into the sink so we called him sinkboy. haha XD then later we went to the void deck to play games. Some duck duck goose game. then later jacobs ladder. nic and i partnered each other. then we kept screaming when the children run past. then this guy sitting beside me in the jacob's ladder, who is called muscle man, coz he arm wrestled me and i lost, then kept teasing nic. haha.

Day4:

Today it is our turn to wash the dishes. nic and i were the ones who soap the dishes. went to visit a different secondary school. we sat in a truck and the wind was like o.O our hair became like crazy woman's hair. But very thrilling. we were viewing a class when this guy started waving to us like mad. So i like out of courtesy and waved back. then he got a shock and started laughing. I was like ???? haha. they actually learnt chinese!!!! i was like reading the words on the board. 他是谁？他是她的爸爸。她是谁？她是她的妈妈。 cool rite? then have computer lessons, chem, bio, social studies, home econs. then we were saying like sink boy must excel in home econs. coz he stays in teh sink and washes dishes. lol. feel so bad. oh! they were having maths lessons and i went in and they are doing trigo! so cool. and algebra! all in thai. after that, we went to pluck corns again. but this time i am not so scared. coz more mentally prepared and had gloves! i am not so afraid of insects now! yay!!! then went to bathe and had dinner. after dinner, we had to wash the dishes and there are a LOT of dishes to wash!!! but it was quite fun. then we played some games and nic and cherms had to go up to do the chicken dance! but it is a different kind of chicken dance! its like u imitate a chicken, with the song, then poke ur ass and go OW! twice then u slide down! so cool XD.

Day5:

Finally a day to relaxx!!!! we went to the mountains today. we sat in a minivan and i sat in btw 2 seperate chairs. when we were halfway there, it started raining so mrs gurung asked the driver to turn back to the home but when we were driving back to hte home, it stopped raining so we turned back to the mountains! the view is like WOAH! so beautiful! and its quite chilly up there.

So, this is the view i took when we got down from the van. So nice! then we climbed the mountain. it was quite steep. after climbing , we got up quite high so we screamed like u wanna destress like tat. everyone started looking at us. then we shouted our idols names. cherms was like:" eh sherms! shout Luo Zhi Xiang!" haha. i helped ah gong shout JIN BAO SAN! lol. then we went to the small shops at the bottom of the mountain then we saw one thermometer and realised it was 12 degrees celsius. i bought some bangles and food and ah gong was like bargaining like crazy. i found of skill of hers. Bargaining! she can really bargain! it was so hilarious. then we went back and i had like serious motion sickness. ate lunch and felt like vomiting. so we went to sit the minivan and went to a real village. we saw many many chickens and cows and distributed sweets. it was really touching to see the villagers smile at u when u offer them sweets. i went into a hut of an old woman and it was really small and low. it had lots of spiderwebs too. inside there was a small tv, with her kids. and simple pots and pans for cooking and many sacks of rice. there were many cows too. cowdung everywhere. sadly there wasnt enough sweets to give out and we had to go:( dinner time and then performance night. so we danced our balloon dance and wore the animal ears. lol. so funny. and i kept laughing all the way. the kids performance was so ADORABLE! especially my buddy's one. the hip hop one. so cute. then there was a performance on the fire breathing. and we sat fireworks and the lanturn. the lanturn is the big one where we light the candle and it flies up in the air. really beautiful. and touching. then we stood in a semi circle with the children in the middle. after prayers, the sister came and hugged each of us. seniors started crying. then i started crying like mad when i hugged sister. she is so adorable. then le tian started crying because she saw me cry .haha. but it was really sad. then we hugged every child there. someone hugged me and poked me in my stomach! then i tickled him. haha. this girl came and hugged me really tight and we were like saying God bless to each other! argh! so sad! then later was free time where we spend our last time together with our buddies. ah gong was like with her buddy and asking him to march with her around the void deck. so cute. then the sinkboy came and exchanged emails with nicole. he gave her his email and even drew a heart shape around it. haha. he called her beautiful too! then we told nic that 3 people called her suai(pretty) alr. haha. Cherms was like crying like mad. worse than me. at that time i really didnt want to leave the home. we felt so attached to it alr. i am really gonna miss it. the children and even the tasks that they asked us to do! Sara was so random that she said, :i feel like plucking corns again. "

Day6
time to go home! we sent the children off to sch in the morning. then ate breakfast. sinkboy gave sara a love letter! and called her cinderella! haha. then we went to take our bags and sat the minivan. Sara was like super urgent and she could not go to sleep. we stopped at the petrol station and we all queued up to use the toliet. the female toliet is like full, so me and le tian had to use the male toliet. it is only one cubicle(luckily). then we sat off again. we reached the big sea and did like shopping for my parents. ate KFC again. chicken wrap! yum. then shopped with ah gong. I realised it is really fun to shop with ah gong, sara and elysia. haha. ah gong especially, she can really bargain. then sara and ah gong bought shades. (i dunno wat for) then they bargain until they got a free pair of shades. so i took the free one XD. ah gong looked like a mosquito. haha. then went to buy doughnuts. so cute! there is like love dad, then they stick a doughnut on a stick and looked like a lollipop. the 4 of us bought one each and took pics. the staff looked at us and laughed at us. haha. cherms and kim and shercow bought like many clothes. on a shopping spree! haha. then we took 2 flights back. sat with nic low thru out. on the last flight, it was dinner time. then we could not finish the dessert wich is some werid seseme thing. so we played hai dai in the plane and the loser gotta eat it. nic lost so she had to eat one small mouth. then the punishment later was to suck the lime and eat the veg raw. nic low lost both and she had to eat it. haha. her face was like crunched up when she sucked the lime. i sucked the lime and like WOAH! so bitter. haha. very funny. then we went to collect our luggage and went home.

the next day i woke up feeling really really weird. haha. no cold weather. no mist. no condensation. no dorm. lol. I really will miss the life there. I hope i can go back there next year!!!! to see my buddy SOMPOD!

Sawadii-ka!

Omg. Time really flies. In a blink of an eye and i am back in Singapore! Haha. I love CHIANG RAI! Shall tell u more about it...

Day 1:

Had to wake up at like 4 in the morning coz we gotta meet in the airport at 5.45. So at around 5, Cherms' parents came to pick me up and OFF we go to the airport. On our way there, we meet our Junior. So shocked. She saw us too then we waved to each other in the car. Haha. Her dad was like staring at us. Reached the airport at the shortest time i can imagine. I tot it would take about 1 hr. In the end it takes only 15 mins. Cherms tink i am mad. So we checked in and flew off to bangkok airport! Sat with elysia on the plane and ate some omelette thing. Quite yummy:) And played super mario and watched Kungfu panda! Hee-ya! I forgot which airport was there starbucks but Cherms got so excited coz she found her CARAMEL MACCHIATO. She went super high. Up to the sky!

Then we took another flight from bangkok to Chiang Rai. Sat with elysia in the plane again. Next we took a bus to the shopping mall called the Big C. at first i tot it was called the Big Sea. haha. Then we went there to shop and have lunch. Had KFC. lol. the food is super nice. Some shrimp wrap thing. Sadly singapore doesnt have it. Didnt really buy much. Just a belt for myself and some food. then took a 2 hour ride to Wiang Kien. Sat with m.low. It began to turn really dark at around 5 plus. At 7 it looks like it is night time alr. And the skies is filled with stars! It was so beautiful!!!! Luckily i sat at the window sit. Haha. Poor ah gong cant see the stars properly. So we reached the home and saw the children waiting for us there. Then we went to our dorms and slept. i was sleeping next to elysia and samantha.

Day2:

Woke up like really early coz it was super cold! then i woke up again coz that stupid rooster started crowing in like, 12 am??? Everyone wanted to go shoot the rooster! Nicole said that when she goes back to Singapore, she is gonna eat a lot of chicken rice. Haha. Then got woken up again by some dogs barking like mad!

This is a dog living in the home. I tink it is called Panda. Wonder if it is the one barking in the night. There are many other dogs there. So we all woke up at 6 to prepare ourselves then saw how the children gos to school everyday.

Ok.... i shall post more about the trip when i get all my pics. haha. I learnt some thai! Moo=pig!

Now is 8pm. Exactly 2 days i will be flying off!!! So excited! I can hardly believe it. So fast.

Investiture today! and price presentation:) Investiture was like, woah, rushing. Pushing the chairs, nailing the stage. Sweating buckets. I was shaking when i was dancing. I was so nervous! Haha. I love the video too! its super funny. The excos dance was very good. The ending pose was cute.

I got my piggy ears too! 小猪！

Hellooooooo. It is a cold cold day today:) Raining super heavily today. Like raining not only cats and dogs, but also rabbits, hamsters, parrots, fishes etc. haha.

Caroline and Rach lee said that my dance movements look like i am going to kill someone. Like i doing kungfu and trying to kill someone. HAHA. BEWARE! :) I'm kind of liking the dance meetings now. Quite fun:)

Hellooooo! Er i apologise for the error in the previous blog. I really dun noe what had happened so i temporaily changed it:) Domo:)

Just read my placement stuff today and I got into my first choice:) Yay! C1b. elective geog. I am still feeling a little nervous. Haha.

Today I went to Vivocity with ade, rach, cabby, rach lee and van G coz the jie jie men are treating us to lunch coz we helped them in the camp. Sadly, Cherms and Ner cant make it:( Oh when ner called me, i left my phone in my room and i was sitting on the floor reading. then i hurriedly got up. But i slipped and fell and banged my back against the cupboard. BAM! woah its super pain. and i was laughing like mad. Lol.

So we met in Dhoby Ghaut mrt station and i was like argh! so many people! i cant find them! then... *imagine the situation where u are in a very crowded place and u were glancing aboout in search of ur friends. then, in the middle of the crowds, u spotted ur friend standing there, walking in your direction and like everyone cleared the way. haha. that's how i spotted Cabby. And addie was walking beside her and she didnt even realise it. Haha. So we all gathered and took the Harbour Front mrt. Ade and rach are dressed very feminine. The rest of us are like casual. When we reached we went to Candy Empire to met Joey. And we bought CHOCOLATES!! i bought the cute small chocolate football. Rach and i were like i dun noe wat to choose! I dun noe wat a sultana is! I tink it is raisins. Then i found the small packets of kinder bueno! So cute!

So, we reached the restuarant Marche and went in. they gave us this card thing. Joey and i ordered the Swiss Roastie or Roostie. It was superb. So nice. but VERY VERY filling. after eating one, joey and i couldnt eat anymore. but unfortunately, i ordered a pizza and i didnt know it was tat big. I managed to eat up with joey's help. Thanks Joey! The ice apple tea was great too. And the ice cream, Creme Burlee and also the Passion Fruit and mango was great also. We took photos with the jie jie men too. Then we went to walk around. Went into the pet shop. The dogs and hammies are really cute. BUT REMEMBER DUN SUCCUMB TO TEMPTATION. (THEIR CUTENESS) My bro phrased it differently. We also went to the toy shop and i saw domokun! And some disgusting stuff.

Cant wait for the chiang rai trip! having a hard time remembering the steps of the performance.
